For the past few months, I have been working on the Lineage Remaster private server. I wanted to make sure I have a good client/server files to get started with and now with those two items in place, I can begin working on modifying the lineage client.

The last stable client/server we had as a private server was 3.63c which I have already, but since the Lineage got an overhaul of graphics I wanted to work on the Remaster version of the game. I am really happy NCSoft decided to update their best MMORPG game to a modern version.

Since I do not have the client translated, I do not know which version of the client I am working on. I will update as I progress through updating the client/server hopefully making a fully functional English version of Lineage Remaster.

In order to extract data from the client, we need something called Pak Extractor. Lucky for us, there are other coders out there who has already made on for us to use. Most of the text located in the game client can be modified by extracting the files and editing them with a simply notepad.

Pak extractor
